Carpet vs Mandarin

Okay, here we go...I just received a great looking red carpet anemone. it about 1' across, great looking specimen. The issue is that I have a 3 year old Mandarin. Is he at risk? The guy at the LFS says yes. I do have an alternative however it would require I keep the nem in my fuge for 3-4 weeks. Is the Mandarin at risk? Should the nem be okay in my fuge for 4 weeks?

Thanks...what about a sand sifting goby? Much faster...also will the nem be ok for 4 weeks in my fuge? The fuge has 65W PC's on it but not a lot of flow. Of course I'll hand feed it.

I have been keeping Haddonis for 10 years now. I have only lost two fish to them (( currently have 4 )). The first was a Yellow watchman goby, and the 2nd was a Mandarin.

I've lost 2 Mandarins to my carpet. I think its important to remember though that fish get sick and end up in the Carpet. The fish would die anyways so its not the Carpets fault. (Especially Mandarins) I think the Nem's get a bad rap at times.
