Depending on your tank size,then there is no issues(at least in my experience).Both anemones prefer different habitats,which lessens the chance of any interaction.I,myself,have 2 Haddoni & 3 Btas in the same tank.I have a 120,& would definately not attempt to keep this many anemones in a smaller tank.HTH

When you say carpets and BTAS, you are referring to three species of carpets...Haddoni, Gigantea and Mertensii. In my experience Haddonis and BTAs are fine but Gigantea and BTAs kept together is a big NO NO.

Gigantea (IME) will not tolerate the presence of E. Quadricolor in the same aquarium and vice versa. Yes, they can sense each other's presence in the same aquarium. Gigantea carpets are notoriously difficult to maintain and I wouldn't even place one in the same aquarium as another large host anemone species.

Anemones can sense each others presence in the wide open ocean. Carbon only partially affects a small portion of aquarium water that's passing throught it and your anemones are in the same display aquarium. No aquarium, no matter how well filtered is 100 percent free of allelopathic compounds produced by it's inhabitants.

You should not keep mixed anemone species together. The long term affect of chemical warfare is nasty. Especially in a 30g and 14g. See Anthony Calfo's threads at Marinedepot.com for more information. 55semireef has not had the best of luck with keeping mixed species. It is not recommended by the pros.

If you really only have a 30 and 14, i'd avoid having two anemones (regardless of species) in either tank, as a single anemone can easily outgrow your tanks.

Why get two anemones when you first need to focus on the one you're going to get?
