carpnter wrasse

I put a carpenter and exquisite wrasse in Sunday 125 gallon. The exquisite is out all the time but the carpenter was out 1 hour and have not seen him since. do they hide when put in a new tank. none of the other fish messed with him. and i have covers on the tank.

Yes, many wrasses can hide for days when first introduced into the tank...
Were they just purchased or QT'd ?

Paracheilinus can be a bit spooky sometimes upon introduction. I've had them take 4-5 days before they seem to "come around".
