caulerpa eater?

Anyone one know of something that eats caulerpa? Do mithrax crabs?

My yellow tang does. Not sure on inverts.

emeralds(mithrax) will eat it but Tangs do the best job

thanks but i cant throw a tang in a ten gallon tank full of rock. The tang is a possibility in my 55. Im leaning more towards a foxface thoug. I hear they are pigs and will eat all kinds of algae including bubble algae.

sorry I didn't read it was a 10gal--I wouldn't even recommend a tang in any tank under a 90gal.
Can you harvest the algae by hand?

sure but it just grows back in the same spots. I want to get the rock cleaned off so I can put it in my display tank. I moved some of it over and now it is rampant in my 55.

Only thing I know to try is what I'm trying---mega refugium. Sop up those phosphates with cheato before it can fuel the caulerpa.
