Cause Of This Ulcer?

Help pls. Does anyone know whats the possible cause of these ulcers? Parasites?

There was originaly one tiny ulcer on his forehead about a week after I got him. Its been over a month now and it seems that the ulcer is getting bigger, and even one beside where it started.

This Tang is in my QT right now getting Para-Guard treatment for ICH for 12 days now. But thinking of switching to Copper(Cupramine) cause some white blotchy parasite appeared on his fins.

Your fish has HLLE. Head lateral line erosion. Tangs are especially susceptible. Feed with nori seaweed soaked in vitamins.

Thanks for your response. A local fish vet confirmed the same! He said Nori should help significantly. He said that HLLE is caused by the fish need for natural nutritional need. He said that HLLE does not happen in their natural environment.
My problem is this Hippo will not eat Nori /He loves pellets, Flakes & shrimp.

Try Eco-systems Fish maintenance. It supposed to reverse HLLE. Good luck. Also try Formula Two by Ocean Nutrition.
