CB Clarion angel

If anyone finds themselves in Northeast Ohio and wants to see one of these awesome angels, Blue Fish Aquarium in Lyndhurst, Ohio has a BEAUTY in their 300 gallon display tank. I attached a not-so-good photo from my cell phone.

Obviously, it's the only place in Canada that gets the rare fish. Luckily their prices are very good

I'm curious if they'll have the same "m" marking as mine. I heard a rumor that they lost one of the breeding Clarions. If that's true, I wonder if this is a new clutch for a different breeding pair. Either way, I'm glad they're still CB'ing them!

yea, Ken at Sum will be getting captive bred ones. and seems like a bunch too !

adult coloration is still unique ... but yea not as attractive as juv.

either way ... outta my range :)

Because they're CB, are they a sure bet to be reef safe? Any thoughts from those who have had any CB angels long term.

they will be coming soon, but there should be A LOT for the price to go down to prices mentioned in this thread.

Dont forget there's no real competition here , one guy breeding and one guy collecting in the wild with pretty high expenses to get permits and go all the way there and back.

price will not fall by much if anything, Wen is the only guy churning them out ad they are going to move on and concentrate on other fish...

as juvis, these fish are perhaps one of the most beautiful you can add to your tank...they are not as beautiful as adults but their orange coloration is hard to fish in any other fish...

Did every see the new cb clarion on DD?!? Man is it so beautiful! If I already didn't have two small ones...

So I have a theory that this new batch is from a different breeding pair. This is complete speculation on my part but this is why I think so. I've seen a few pics from the clutch that my cb clarion came from and mostly all the babies in the pics had the distinguish 'm' birthmark on the sides. Theses new babies coming to market don't have the 'm' mark, hence my theory.
