I was getting ready to do a water change and the clip holding my cell on my belt let go; and as luck would have it, it fell right into the newly mixed sw. I hurried up and got it out, took the battery off, and turned the oven to ~140 degrees. After "cooking" my phone for about 2 hours -checking regularly to make sure it idn't get "overdone"- I put the battery back in and IT WORKS!!!!!!!!!
lol... I thought it was a goner.

No, but everyone sounded like they were under water for a while :)

Ya, but that wasn't a function of the phone...more likely too many rum and cokes :eek1:

I dropped mine in a snow bank a couple years ago, found it half an hour later after it looked like it got hit by a car, and it worked fine about an hour later.

I dropped the same one in a puddle Thurs night and it was working fine a few hours later.

I had one set out in the snow for about a week...

Brought it in and it worked like a champ...

I thought I had lost it somewhere else....

I dropped my Dewalt 18v cordless drill in saltwater before and after I cleaned/dried it up it works, but not as good as before.

lol cward, I was finishing installing our Jacuzzi in the master bedroom and I dropped my 18V dewalt. It left an imprint of my battery in my kitchen ceiling just as you walk through the door. Its amazing how many people walked in, looked at this outline in my ceiling and asked if it was a dewalt. it was that perfect of an imprint.

Just the other day I droped my cell in a bucket of mop water and did not know it untill I came back to finish the floor about 15 min later.looked down as I was sloshing the mop and noticed this silver thing floating around:lol: . I used a hair dryer and let it sit overnight . still a goin!!:D

I handle all of the company nextels for our ambulance service (67 phones) I will give you some of the blunders I have run into.

1 I had one that was dropped into a coke (on purpose) I dried it and it worked

2 Dropped into a goldfish pond. Didnt work

3 Dropped into the toilet. Didnt try to get it to work

4 An ex employee mailed a phone back to us but sent it to centerville oh not circleville oh

5 Used it for a hockey puck dont ask

6 Lawnmower ate it

7 Had one cleaned by an employee that used a cleaner so strong that it melted the casing in places

Thats just off the top of my head.
