cFloor's 250g Peninsula

Hi everyone, I wanted to start a new thread for my new tank. Everything has been transferred from my previous 190g. I've traded off about 25% of my corals and chopped up many others. Although this tank is larger, I ended up with fewer corals and fish. Other than having a healthy reef, my main goal for this tank is ease of maintenance. My previous tank, due to it's dimensions became very difficult to work on, and access certain corals.

Tank: Crystal Dynamics Peninsula: 72"x36"x22"
Sump: Advanced Acrylics
Return pump: Ecotech Vectra L1
Skimmer: Reef Octopus 300
Lighting: ATI t5 with Reefbrite LED strips
Alk and Ca: B-Ionic 2 part, Bubble Magus doser
Controller: Neptune Apex (controls heaters and fans, and monitors temp and pH)
Flow: 2 MP40s, 100% on pulse mode (will add 2 more)
Other: About 9 gallons of Seachem Matrix in bags and reactors, 1 cup carbon in bag, Reef Crystals salt

190g thread:

Here's where I'm at today. The return pump was turned on May 10th and my corals were transferred on May 29th.

Beautiful........I love the gaps and openness of the scape..........hope you can keep it that way.

I'm jealous of the tank dimensions(perfect) and your fish choices top everything off.

Very nicely done! Looks beautiful and you have some cool fish too. I hope the adjustment period to the new tank goes smoothly, looking forward to things filling in even thought they don't really even need too!

Beautiful start Connor.
Looking forward to watching this baby grow out.
Love those bandits. Not sure I've ever seen those fish in person.

Looks great!!
And selection of fish is something!!
Do you think 8 bulbs will cover 72x36 size thank? Mine is the same dimension and i went with 10 bulbs fixture.

And beautiful SPS.....you have an awesome reef!

Great looking aquascape Connor, looking forward to more updates and pictures of this beautiful reef!

That is pretty much the holy grail for tank size Conor. I'm loving the design choices for your layout and it looks like your fish have way more room to swim. Looking fantastic!!
