cFloor's 250g Peninsula

Because of the changes to photo bucket, all my pics are gone. I refuse to pay their yearly fee so I'm going to try out Flickr, or if anyone has any other suggestions please let me know. I'm considering starting a new thread since this one was just at the beginning anyway.

Testing out Flickr

Quick update: The new tank is doing fairly well for being 2 months old. My colors are starting to come back a bit and things are starting to settle in. I've plumbed my frag tank and the old 190g tank into the new one so my water volume has doubled. Ive noticed that I do not have enough flow. 4 mp40s on the back wall is not enough so I will be upgrading to mp60s. I also don't know how long I'll get away with 8 t5s and 2 reefbrite strips. I will eventually add 2 more t5s or 2 more reefbrites.

I cannot grow chaeto, I've tried 4 times over the past few years and it always withers away. Not sure why.

There is a shrimp murderer in my tank. 3 of my 5 shrimp have been chopped in half...I suspect the clarion.

Someone likes to throw sand all over my corals so I might have to raise them above the sand a bit more...again, I suspect the clarion.

Hi Conor
I use Flickr since 2010.
I think that for now on, with the changes on Photobucket, a lot of users will migrate from one to another.
It's ridiculous what Photobucket did with its users.....In all forums all that you see is threads posted over the years that didn't show any more pictures....
As you said, the thread is beggining...maybe the best is to start another one.

About the chaetos, I just can't make them grow too. In the beginning, I thought that was due to 0,0 NO3 and PO4. But now, after almost a year of setting up the tank, they just stay the same...Don't grow......but don't die too.

A tip: when you paste the link generated by flickr, you must cut it to this:

It's an annoying thing to do when you'll attach several photos, but I ended up doing it.

Hey Conor,
So stupid what Photobucket did to the people who have used them, my entire journal on my old tank has the same image in place of the pics that were there. This is such a rude thing to do, I am still very irratated by this decision. FWIW, I use the competitor reef site as they now have direct image linking, it makes it super easy to do, less steps, so thanks Photobucket, now hopefully RC will do something similar... Cheers man, regardless, that tank looks killer, and I can stare at that tort all day long :)
