If you are thinking about an S. Haddoni, I have a feeling that the snowflake will last a couple of months before it stumbles in/onto the Haddoni.

Anyways a snowflake was already ok'd by the group of people in the FO and Aggressive section. Echidna nebulosa stay quite small compared to other morays and it will have a sump the same size as the DT.

Yeah, it has been about 15 years since I last kept a snowflake, but if my memory serves about how they hang out, see it getting munched on.

Yeah, well most people don't keep a sump that large. Just my opinion of that eel and what I'd do. They don't swim like fish. Like Todd said, carpet and eel is a no go.

for 2 months so far no issues. burgess butterfly doesnt seem to have any interest in the gigantea carpet.

i've never seen him pick at it. the clowns hosted by it guide him away (very peacefully i might add) if he hovers too long near it which i only see infrequently while he's picking at the rock it's attached to. so i would say this combo can work well.

to my surprise while on vacation i saw an aquarium with a huge purple gigantea that was getting picked on by a large angel (will have to look back through pics to identify). first time i'd ever seen something like it but he literally would fearlessly go up to the anemone and bite off a chunk of tentacles and move on, coming back if he felt like it a few minutes later. dont know what allows that angelfish to do that.

I have a green carpet with 2 picasso clowns in my 210 g tank . I have several angels, including Asfur , Koran , emperor , majestic etc... and none touch or even tried to touch my nem. Luckly none got stung or were eaten also... and they are living together for over 2 years...
