The first pic looks like a completely different chalice then the second, but it looks awesome i bet its gonna go for a lot seeing how the opening bid is $150.

+1 I agree. Second pic looks absolutely completely different than first. Would pay 150+ easily for first pic. Wouldn't pay 50 for the second.

The first two are of the mother colony, third one is actualy frag. Could it need more time to turn into what the mother looks like? Would stink if it never "matured" to look like the mother!

Ya me too in my opinion the last pic is not a very good looking chalice but the first pic is and extraordinarily beautiful piece, dont think its the same chalice, they mustve put up a wrong pic would be my guess.

First pic does look nice. I'd be mad if I spent x amount of dollars on that auction and it didn't end up looking like the mother colony. Did you see the dimensions of the frag?!? That sure is a little piece.

I know that that bottom picture of the frag on the link isnt in best color but if you look hard at it you can see the blue, green, and oranges coming in. And plus its from Steve tyree.. i know i wont be let down. Plus when I called the guy told me shoegirl or something like that wont be selling it for anything near 150.00, so im satisfied. :]

Pretty nice looking chalice.

Probably will take a while for frags of it to get proper color. I know many chalices out there need to grow quite a bit before their colors really start to show
