Have to post a pic of my Miami Hurricane colony. Top down of course.

gws76, great piece! Could you please describe the lighting and placement of this colony? I think this is the first Miami Hurricane that I've seen that actually has the same colors of the original. Most of them have slate blue instead of green.

Tank is 48 long x 25 tall x 30 deep. I run two Icecap 250 watt MH DE pendants with 4 x 48 inch T5's (2 in front and 2 in back). T5 bulbs are 2 gieseman pure actinic and 2 gieseman actinic plus. MH bulbs are 14,000K's. I keep the miami hurricane on the sandbed down in the front lower left hand corner. It's probably medium flow in that spot.

Fixing to ditch the MH pendant's here in the next month. Can't take the heat anymore.:furious: I hope everything continues to grow well after I change over to all T5's.
