Alicia said the same things back a few pages ago. I guess we are starting to understand how to care for certain chalices in captivity. Kind of like the mummy eye from ER does not like light and the 4 color color chalice from BB loves it. I have also found that if you put the rasta in the shade it will look a lot like the hybrid. I can get blue next to green rim.
One more reason that I enjoy corals that have been in capitivity for awhile and why I like lineaged pieces. I have bought a few nice transshipped dhalices, but over time they brown out. I still have them, just in case...![]()

Bingo. I have kept chalices for a number of years but never fully understood their placement. For the life of me, I never could figure out the Watermelon chalice. It does seem like they prefer higher light over other chalices. Where do you have your pink watermelon at, Mark?
