Does this piece "JC LE Ancient Earth Enchino" look like the same species as the Monster Mash? it looks like another morph of the Monster Mash if you ask me, pretty sweet too!

I'm not sure of the species, but it is truly something special! LE material if you ask me. the blue really is that deep and the bumps are wicked neon blue.....even the frags look super hot! but the green rim is different than the watermelon chalices......not quite as neon......but the bumps are exactly like the watermelons.
It's one of my favorite chalices! I got it wholesale from California.

Juice- The reason its not super special and LE status because its a recent import and a few are floating around California and I am sure elsewhere in the country. Under different lighting (tons of actinic) and photochopped, the same coral will look different. Its definitely nice but I wouldn't go out of my way and say its "truly special". The other coral, MM, is something really special and has been kept in captivity for a long long time before all the recent chalice craze.

From what I know, Chin_Monsters was one of the first watermelons around at the time and he had a hard time selling them for $80. Imagine that 
Its such a limited coral because at the time he was selling it, nobody cared. By the time chalices were catching on, he lost his colony...

im sorry guys but im going to do a small correction the first watermelon that came out in the market was the real pink watermelon from ron johncola and this was his colony long long time ago
Them Chinmoster got his colony, latter Fragfarmer got his watermelon and the i got my red watermelon, iam pretty sure this the trhue.
you can see here on this thread someone is asking for the different between his piece and the watermelon and on this time he just got it and the watermelon was limted addtion i guess
