Great pics all around.

I do have a remedial question, though. I noticed most of the chalices are growing on frag plugs and don't touch sand. Is this of concern, the chilice growing on the sand bottom.

Rpnoy....SERIOUSLY how are you getting these rediculous shots? Are you using a camera box from the top down or is the camera on a tripod? Is this a macro lens and what camera are you using? The shots you get make me want to go buy your camera!!

Thanks Bushh.. Yes I am using a top down box and a macro lens..

You also have a nice collection going there

I have a colony just like that but mine has lost a lot of the blue and green in it. What lighting, distance, etc. do you have this piece under?

I have em a little shaded and its sitting on a Radium bulb... Post yours.. I really like the Blue and Red coloration on this piece..

Reeferpnoy thanks but no where near yours and mine's really just babies right now. I definitely have to get a top down box and a new macro lens for my SLR. Any recommendations on the box?

Thanks Ian and I'm sure you recognized a few!!

Nice pic Chris, looks like an Oxypora sp. Is that the mother colony of the frag I saw earlier?

-Justin

No Justin, this is a different one, the other one is more orange and has green around the rim of it.

The pic does not do it justice this thing is sweet!!! You will have to come check it out next time you come over.

Fishguy5 has been holding out on us, he has some really nice chalice's!!!

Picked up this yesterday. The store had it labeled as "Ultimate Watermelon" Hopefully once it has a chance to settle in, it will color up nicely.

Thanks. Yeah it's from Aquaworld. Since I've met Jeff my chalice collection has been growing rather quickly.

Did that not originate with Rommel a couple years back, thus the name "ultimates watermelon".

Very nice Tsiftly now were talking. Did you get the aquaman also?
Thanks. I didn't end up picking up the Aquaman. I headed in for it, but when I got there the Ultimate caught my eye.

I might head back for it next week though.
