Chances of survival?

That Guy
So I put together a seahorse tank about 6 weeks ago and have had the tank cycling since then and just added 2 seahorses yesterday (technically Wednesday). The tank is a 24g Nano Cube and the output for the filter was too much for the seahorses to swim without being blown around. I fixed the issue late last night by adding about 12 inches of tubing with hills drilled into it that I had left over from a canister filter for my 100g freshwater tank. That has fixed the issue but one of the horses is appearing weak. He is still swimming around but not as strongly as one would like and twice already I have had him sticking to the overflow part for the filter. Is this just stress from too much flow for a day or is it too late for him to survive? The other horse appears to be fine so that is good.

Thank you in advance

a little more info on seahorses what kind were did you get them captive bred or wild caught ? tank is a wee small but can be done with good skimming and house keeping.is it stuck to the intake ?

okay my horses actuary like to play in the output of my flow . they can handle more then people think . are they both eating frozen mysis? if one is sticking to the input and the other is not i would suspect one is week . anyway to take pics? hopefully one of the experts will chime in for you. sometimes ?'s take a while to get answered here . just not a lot of traffic on this part of site.

Now that the lights are on, the one that seemed to be with issues is swimming and seems to be doing better...for now.

good to hear. may of been a bit stressed at first. are you running a skimmer or sump? you will need a good skimmer in the least.

No skimmer yet, was going to get one of the ones they build to be put onto a biocube/nano cube. Don't really have many other options when it comes to skimmer. I will be doing weekly water changes though to help.
