Well I tried it like that and I only get flow along the back on the tank cause my rocks are so tall .. No water goes towards the front of the tank!

Impossible, Place a powerhead behind each rock stack, point each powerhead angled to the middle front, it will create a figure 8 pattern and you will have great flow. No way your rocks are to tall to do it, my rock stacks are 23inch tall in a 26 inch tall tank and thats how I have them set up.

i like. i just did the same and went for a minimalist look too with a pile of rocks on the right and a larger pile on the left. i like the look of the white sand all exposed. i ended up throwing the rest of my live rock into my sump. i placed my powerheads sort of hidden but not really by the rockwork.

i had the same problem that you had with the flow not being the same, so what i did was i "crossed the streams" ghostbusters style! with 2 powerheads on the right pile of rocks. this worked better, although i do have a single vortech above the left pile of rocks. interestingly, even if the powerheads aren't "hidden" per se behind the rock piles, they sort of blend in.

I have a somewhat similar layout but with another rock in the middle. I have my powerheads behind the rock structures on the left and right.

what kind of fish are those little fish near the top of the tank?
