Changing RBTA lighting losing color

I changed one of my 96 watt 10,000K PC bulbs and my RBTA is not too happy. It was a Hamilton Technology 96 watt 10,000K bulb and I replaced it with a Irridesece 96 watt 10,000 k brand bulb. It has been about two weeks now and my main concern is he is quite a bit lighter than he was before.

I am assuming this bulb is putting out more light since he is not as high up in the rock anymore. The bulb was replaced after 9 months.

Anything to worry about. His eating response is not as good as it use to be. It has been about two weeks now.

I'm not really sure what to tell ya. Have you tried the old bulb and see if he is happier with it? I know my BTA doesn't like the heat wave we are having lately. My temps went high and I thought I was going to lose him. This white cloudy stuff was coming out of him and he lost alot of color. There is a name for it but it's not coming to me now. I added another fan and changed 10g of water every other day 9 times. He's looking better now. Next week I'm getting a chiller. Have you done a water change? I would guess it's something else that is causing it to be unhappy.

Yes I change about 5 gallons a week in my 65. He is coming out more but just light in color?? It appears he was reaching a lot more previouslly and displayed longer tentacles now they are much shorter and near bulb like.
