Chattanooga Frag Swap!!

We are very excited about this year's swap! We have Dr. Mac from Pacific East Aquaculture coming with 100's of corals, Dennis Tagrin of DT's Plankton Farm, Randy Reed from Reef Nutrition/Reed Mariculture, Matt Carberry From Sustainable Aquatics and a few more in the works.

There are donations to be raffled off from several major companies including Red Sea, Seachem, Reef Geek, Current, Hamilton Technology, AirWaterIce, Reef Doctor Micromussas, Cherry Corals, Carib-Sea and more to come!!

We will keep this thread updated with info as it comes in to us. We hope to see you all there!!
 
You all need to come and say hello to me! My tank is starting to look fairly good!!! I might be cooking the burgers.....

I'm pretty sure that Matt will be having fish there. I can ask, but he's the one who is breeding all the fabulous clown fish for great prices? I'm sure that guy is going to be there (I was told to wait and get my clowns from him). I'll see if I can find out and post. We are really getting a lot of good things for raffle/auction too. We're going to have a refugium to auction....

You just need to come! I'll see if maybe we can start a thread for items (we have one, but it's in the club forum for members only- us getting the items and what we've gotten), but maybe we can have a public one to let everybody know what's going on and who's going to be there....

Well, I've asked and also asked if we could have a listing of all the raffle/auction items that we are going to have and what vendors are coming/selling. I didn't get an answer to the Matt question (asked too many things at once and that got forgotten). I know we wouldn't be able to post vendors in a thread here (I can understand that), but I think a link to our thread that lists what is happening, what's going to be available, etc would be nice. I'll let you know what I find out about Matt.
 
Yes Matt (Sustainable Aquatics) is coming to the swap and bringing fish. I will get a post in the frag swap threads in all the forums giving a list of our raffle/auction items. I just have to finish putting the list together. Hopefully it will be up tonight.

Thank you for your interest. We hope this year's swap is going to be awesome. So far it is looking good - hope a bunch of you guys will be able to make it.
 
Patrick knows everything. I don't keep up with all the names/businesses, but the swap is going to be good. And even have good food. I'll be cooking burgers on the grill and we'll probably have hot dogs for the kids too. I've vetoed french fries (too much mess). And sorry, no beer, we'll be at a church, but plenty of sodas and lemonade.....
 
It looks like it's going to be pretty big with lots of nice things. There's going to be a refugium to auction and some skimmers to raffle that I know some of our more knowledgible members are drooling over.... Hope you all can make it. The drive isn't too bad and it's on a Saturday. We'll even have burgers to eat, so you won't even have to stop at McDonald's.....
 
I look forward to seeing you guys there. I used to come when I lived in North Alabama but live in Southwestern Virginia now. I'm going to make a point to be there.
 
Well this years frag swap looks like it is shaping up to be a record breaker for us!!! We have more vendors than ever before and our raffles are starting to stack up and there is still 2 months to go!! Please PM me with table reservations for individual sellers and for reef club tables. We should have plenty of room but we would like to keep things organized.

And come hungry, we'll be cooking up burgers on the grill, hot dogs too . I've drawn the line at french fries though. You all really don't want fries, do you? I hate cooking those things. maybe we can bake them? Ugh. Chips, burgers...... Come hungry. Fishies need a new tank..... just joking.
 
Just a month away!!!

This years swap looks like it is shaping up to be AWESOME!! We have some more donations coming in and a BIG TICKET ITEM or 2. We may be having an auction of the big things to stir it up a bit!! Should be a great time for everyone. Hope to see a bunch of you guys there!!

Please contact me with selling table reservations. We have a facility with lots of room but tables are filling up fast. I also want to plan out where everyone will be located to keep things organized and to create a good flow for everyone to walk through.
