Cheato ? does it need to be planted ?

Chaetomorpha doesn't have holdfasts, so don't "plant" it. It floats.

Is your Chaetomorpha in a quiet area, or a turbulent area? It will float as long as it's in an area of calm water. If it's partially submerged, it will grow up to the surface and towards light- as long as it's not in a heavy current of water.

it is right where the flow comes out to the fuge, I can move it, my LFS said it was spagettii grass, but I belive this to be Cheato, am I correct ?

Chaetomorpha is often called "spaghetti algae." It's not a embryophyte plant (like grass), its a filamentous algae. Just search google for chaetomorpha and make sure what you were sold is what you see in the pictures. How much flow is going through your 'fuge? How much light does your chaeto get?
