WOW......If I had a tank like either one of those I dont think I would leave home. uh work...Im callingin sick again.....can't get off the couch (that conveniently is in front of the aquarium).

Which picture? there are alot of pink corlas in tank,

Looks like you are either talking about the red Goniopora or the Ricirdea florida.

I was just there last saturday, you have to see it in person!!!! It was my first time in there and I looked at both of the display tanks for about a hour. You have to see the selection on sps frags (at good prices too!). Its amazing!!

Which part? BC is about 6-7 hours...Upscales is not the only LFS that has some good stuff...there are plenty of others if you ever made the trip down. But Upscales has the largest and most diverese collection of SPS.

There frags are cool, they have so many that they tend to be in the frag tank for a while and they have a great system there so they grow...if you really look you can find frags that are a small colony in thier own right.

Wow, I only know of one store in S. Cal with an sps tank that nice and I know they have to use zeo to get it looking like that.

Oregon stores are great and I have always heard great stuff about upscales. We are 3 hours away from portland and people will regularly make day trips to go there to get frags. KevinPo as someone mentioned earlier Is in Spokane which is about 6 hours. I have made a trip there before as Kevins store is setup in a similar way with his home 500 gallon for frags along with his newer shop 450gallon display. Kevins tank has been tank of the month here before and I feel For SPS these two stores have the right Idea. they dont just order SPS and it survives but they color up and grow in there systems.


It is kind of funny. Kevin will end up with some enormous frags that are 6+ inches because the locals will already have it. Other area's would love to have these frags.
