check out these two scores from the lfs!

i just got these today...

a couple of guys were telling me that these were montipora's...

ummm...okay?

the pink one is about 8 inches across:

the green one is about 10"x6":

the pictures dont do them justice and are absolutely stunning in the tank!
 
First one might be oxypora, second is definitely an echino. Bet that first colors up over time to be something close to the watermelon chalice that Tyree is selling. I assume the pricing was good since it was just common montis, right?

LOL this is just like these "button polyps" that my LFS claimed them to be :D

BTW nice score you got there. I bet the one in the first picture colors up nicely.

i will gladly take those 'buttons' off your hands any day. a fair trade for those would be the ultra rare glass anenome, right! ;)

the kicker of finding these two guys was that i wasnt even in the process of looking at anymore corals...

i was scouting out the lfs' for the ones that carry the best discus as i am in the middle of setting up a fw planted tank.

a wonderful surprise indeed! :D
 
They both look like a variety of enchinophyllia-nice finds.

however, neither look like tyree's watermelon chalice. I like both but his enchino is on another planet.
