check out this tang!

Pretty cool indeed.

Even if I had the means, I couldn't imagine taking the risk, let alone through mail order. Unless of course it poops diamonds.

Yeah, it really is an awesome one of a kind fish. Thats why I just bought it....

Just kidden...

But seriously, the day I buy that fish is the day it telepathically transports itself into my tank. (if that just made sense)

 there was someone one RC that had a shoal of about 6 of them. Wish I could remember the member or find the pic.

They are nice tangs, but I would rather buy 5 Black Tangs for that price. Just not enough of a WOW factor for me. Guess it is like owning a porsche or a lamborghini......just other things I would rather divert the funds to.

That angel is awesome. Looks identical to a flame angel other then the coloring is a wee bit off. When someone buys a fish like these 2 at these costs and it turns out to cost more then a fully setup reef tank, then you've got a little too much money then you can handle...

:)

yeah those two fish would just about pay for a years worth of payments on my new fully loaded pathfinder! LOL and these guys don't even come with a bose 6 disc changer, or heated leather seats and a pimp wood grain package! whats up with that? LOL

actually the fish is probably only worth 200.00 bucks but with todays fuel prices! the diver probably spent 3000.00 filling up his deisel clunker to go get the fish LOL

Even with those prices some one will buy it. I can't imagine how anyone could justify it but someone will.

The first time I saw a picture of my dream fish, Genicanthus personatus, I knew it was THE fish for me -- I love angels, and I've never seen something quite as stunning as a male masked angel. I had no idea how rare they were, but later learned that they can cost somewhere between $5,000 and $10,000 US. Very few are caught each year, and they generally end up in Asian countries. If I ever get to see one during my lifetime, either in the wild or at an aquarium, I'll be thrilled beyond words. I know there's no way I will ever have one unless I win the lottery. However, if I did win the lottery, I wouldn't think twice about buying one of these fish (and a huge system to house it) if it was available -- when you absolutely adore a fish (or any animal), sometimes the price tag doesn't matter. If there's a fish that makes your heart sing and you can afford it, I say go for it -- life is short, we might as well enjoy it :D
