ive never seen a watchman goby like that... anyone know where i could find one? or is it just lucky that the fish turned that color..

why does this fish need to be in a 30gal? the yellow only needs a 10 gal..
and could this guy pair up with a yellow?

IMO all watchman gobies need at least a 30, they get pretty big when grown. I think the differing recommendations are an inconsistency, not deliberate.

It is a different species than the yellow watchman goby (Cryptocentrus cinctus). Some places have them listed for sale:

I had a ywg years ago and it was about 3 1/2" or so when my foxface killed it.

i have a 30gal tank with a yellow watchman, any way i could get one of these guys in it? would the 2 fish fight? or pair up?
