Chiller cycling on/off

Here's what I've got set:

  • Nominal Value: 25.1
  • Cooling Differnce: 0.05
  • Hysteresis: 0.08

It seems my chiller cycles on and off much too quickly. I just happened to notice this while in the garage and hearing the chiller cycling.

My temperature is where I want it to be. Any suggestions on where to put the numbers so the chiller doesn't cycle as frequently?

Thanks

Increasing hysteresis will reduce switching cycles.
I have 1.5 in my tank for the cooler.
For the heater i use 0.5
(I have different settings for cooler and heater because i use "virtual probes")

Trust me neither of us taste as nice when chewed on!

Oh yer you guys South of the border are having your TG forgot that! We had ours way back.

M&M&M, glad I got that straightened out

Mike at AQD, not to slight you in any way, however I was referring to MSHUR, as he was part of the thread.

But, I had a bite of turkey and glass of wine and loaf of whatever for you, too. Love my ProFilux!

I adjusted my settings, set up a virtual probe for the heater and everything is working well.

Thanks for the help.
