Chiller Repair

Does anyone know of a place that will check out a chiller? I have a jbj chiller that stopped chilling. It may just be a Freon leak. Everything still turns on like normal but the temps don’t drop.

I can't direct you to someone local, but anyone that can repair an A/C or fridge could take care of it for you.
Is there flow through it?

check with terry alexander. i know he does a/c work and has done some chiller work also. online name is fragger. on here and the orca site

One major thing I have seen is making sure you take it to someone that has worked on small refig units. Ahab took his unit into a place were they put to much freon in and killed the unit. Sad to say this warning even needs to go out.

I took mine to our local trade school. They fixed it while I waited and only asked for a $20 donation

That should not happen, no matter what size the unit. The person that did that was, let's say less than qualified to be working on any kind of refrig. unit.

DgenR8 you can say that again. It is a shame. I figured I would let people know it can happen and if they ask it is back up on having them fix the unit if they break it. Ahab got screwd because the company wouldn't even fix what they destroyed.
