salsipuedes, I contacted E.Shine and Kontak, both seem to be the same lamp, just Kontak gave me a cheaper price (160 o 170). Both companies answered the questions I had quickly. I didn't order from them cause I went for another model they didn't offer.

you have to chat with one of the reps to place an order. they will email you a form after you let them know your ready to place an order. All communication is via email or chat.

I'm running the ebay version that says TaoTronics on the box (55 3W bulbs running at 2W). Been going for a little over a month (I should just stop right here because that's not enough time to measure anything). But the one BIG thing I can say for everyone to watch out for is that I've burned several corals because these are far brighter and concentrated than the 250MH setup it replaced. My acans, monti's, and pretty much everything else is doing well under these. I struggle with SPS, but that's been true for me under MH as well.

Interested in these lights as well and hope you keep us posted on your results. How high up do you have them and how big is your tank?

I'm interested as well to see how you like them. And as always, pics are nice!

I have the 120w version (55 leds) but it is more exact to say 145 watts (checked with a kill a watt).

I finally could install them in my tank. I am very pleased with the color. I had a single actinic t5ho to supplement in case it was necessary, but there is no difference if the t5 is on on or off, the leds are just too intense.

In terms of light spread is really good, I have two units hanging at 10cm (4 inches) from the tank. The tank dimensions are 56 x 24 x 24 (140 x 60 x 60).

Can you provide a photo? I would like to see the lights in action.

Sure, I will try to take some photos this week. The aquarium is dirty cause was 3 weeks without skimmer and it get covered with cyano and other bad things, but otherwise it may help you to get an idea about the covered area and the light color

I have a 24g Current Aquapod with SPS. I have a CPR Refugium/skimmer on it. I'm looking to replace my 150w MH with LED's
I would only need one, but was wondering if 120w LED would be too bright and need a 90w for the SPS. What wattage would I need?

I'm following this close cause I'm thinking of getting these
corey

Me too!!!!

I was looking at some of these LEDS online.
One place had one that was 3W and was $159 and the same light
but with 1W leds was $199.99. Why would the 1W be more expensive than the 3W?

Bit the bullet and ordered the 120 watt 20k LEDs from aquariumleds.com. I run 250 watt radiums under a 30x30 cube and needed a new bulb. Rather than spending 90 bucks on the radium bulb I went with LEDs ($160).

I think the hardware is more or less the same. I went with mine because the have brand name led bulbs (bridge lux). I should be getting them this Friday. Will setup this weekend and hopefully post pics.

I have the 14k fixture, I love it. Really interested in how "blue" the 20k really is. So please post picks!
