Chinese LED Lights

At bigrednole hold the left arrow on the remote down pointing it at the unit ... the LCD screen should shut off and then do the same to put it back on

Ok, so I'm looking at the RB and AJM, in some pics the RB's fixture looks a little red to me, is that just the pics? or from the warm white 3500k, and the cool white 7500k? the AJM states the whites are 10k less red, anyone have any input on these?

Many cameras that are not adjusted tend to bring out the purple/red hues. Red can be overpowering so i limited mine to two 660nm in my custom fixture. No red hue in my tank and im sure most of the people dont have that red hue either

Perfect, thank you. It did the trick. The instructions got mixed in with a bunch of papers and got tossed. Not sure if this was in the instructions or not anyway.

So plugging the unit in to own outlet didn't do anything as I figured ...

I'm just trying to figure out which unit is off ... either the left ones blues are dimmer or whites more intense or the right units blues are stronger or its whites are dimmer... at 60 blues 30 whites on the right side and 60 blues 20 whites on the left side it looks exact to my eye ... so I'm not sure what is off but I emailed Logan at reefbreeders so we shall see what happens.

Would two IT2080 be enough for my 96" x 24" x 24" tank it has a big glass center brace?
I don't think I will put corals in the center I'll make it more of an open swimming space, I just don't want to create a dark area.
would removing the len's from the end of each fixture in the center help with this?

This is a pic of my tank with the IT2040. I only have Picasa for photo editing. I have not calibrated my camera's White Balance for the tank yet. Once I have the light cycle the way I want, I will calibrate the camera. The only thing I did in edit was "Auto Color". It pulled the color close to accurate. The rock is blown out/washed out from brightness. I will have to run some test to get the camera ready for the aquarium. You can tell how close to accurate the picture is to real life. The Flame Algae on the lower left is almost exact to color I see.

Dipan, nice growth. I just put my first corals in yesterday. I will have to see how they do over the coming months. I am hoping the colonies grow and expand nicely.

Here is a 1 month shot of one of my SPS. This one has done the best as far as growth goes. Under EG D120 lighting.

How far down you place the sps from the light. I bought some sps and it all bleach in 3 days. what kind the light you have and how far did you place the sps from it. what percent did you turn your light on???

This is about 15 inches from the light running at about 40% white to 55% blue. I have a Green Monti cap about the same height and is holding color but haven't seen much growth yet. I have another SPS about 4 inches higher that bleached on me as well. Seems like its slowly starting to color back up but growth on that one has also been slow.

Not Dimmable or customizable and cost more than buying direct. The taotronics are sold on eBay also. Some reviews on those are less than stellar.

I would go with and evergrow customized if it were me. Shipped to your door with more features for $175 ( at least that was the price when I go mine in July )

Where can I find reviews for taotronics? I foound a few on Amazon which were actually pretty good. I'm looking at this light http://www.ebay.com/itm/TaoTronics-...543?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item25758127bf for my 60+ gallon DT that measures 48x17x18). Judging by what I have been reading, other than it being 1:1 BW, this light looks like a pretty good deal. What's your thoughts?

Checking out the d120 and it120s. Not sure if I need 90 or 120 degree. I keep reading different opinions on that! GRRRRR. I'm going to be setting up a 63 gallon 48x17x18 mixed reef.
