Chloroquine Phosphate treatment for ich after 30 days

I am treating a new tang with CP for ich. My question is do I have to move it to a clean tank for observation after 30 days or just strip the medication with a carbon filter? That would assump CP will somehow damage the tomont cysts after extended period of exposure like copper does?

You can just remove the CP with carbon and water changes. CP works on the same life stage of ich as copper does, and all medications that treat ich for that matter
