Where to start?

I just ordered my NEW Leemar tank.

Here are the specs:

6x2x2 Leemar.
3 sides star fire.
Black back.
Black silicone
External overflow with (2) 1 1/2 inch drains.
(4) returns
Recessed European Brace

8 am going to incorporate this tank into a bar and fireplace

Ali is helping me get the tank. Many thanks to him.

So, I am going to post pics tomorrow of the space the tank is going into.

I have a ton of work to do.

1st of all, I have to move my Red Sea tank out of the way.
Then, I will build the frame work of the stand.
I have to demo the fireplace as it currently stands, but, not right away.
The stand is going to have a bar ledge around it.
The stand will have a laminated interior.
I will post pics of the drawing from Ali as soon as I get it.

I am excited.

I think I am going to either use the ATI power module or 6 AIR SOL's.
I am going to use my current sump from my 100 gallon LeeMar from my current build.
You can see that here:
http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2030444

I am going to use all of the equipment from this tank.

The 100 gallon Leemar is going to my brother in Phoenix.

Once the tank is set up, I will sell the Red Sea.

I am going to build the stand my self.

More to come.....

Good luck Randy. You still have up your other tank in your living room? Seems like just yesterday you were putting that one together.

As for your lighting you mentioned. Personally I would go with the ATI Powermodule or Sunpower fixtures. I had the AI Led's and personally didn't like them at all. I know there is much debate about this but for me, I ended up going back to T5's as I have always had great results from them.

Kiki, good to see you here. The Leemar in the living room is going to Phoenix. How is your tank? You should post some current pics in your build. Wait till you see what this stand is going to be like. I think this one will be a little lower, but, not too much lower. I am also going to incorporate a bar ledge around it and possibly even the bar and fireplace. I will try to draw it a little later. Hope all is well with you and your tank.

Fishy,

Ev'e. I will probably need your help on this tank when it comes to moving it around and all that.

I hope that this will be a nice build.

looks like its going to be a great build. psiscott has a bar ledge around his tank and its a great idea/look.
looking forward to the build thread.

Can't wait to see more updates. Good luck and let me know if you need any help.

To get a mod to edit your original post, PM one of them your link and ask them to change it.

Ed, (bad Santa),

Yes, I saw his..... His is much grander than mine..... But, I think it will come out nice. Keep an eye out and please feel free to critique as we go along.....

I have to build this fast.....

Mike, (Solitude)

When are we going to build your pond?

I hope to set this tank up more as an SPS tank..... Of course, yours is the inspiration here.....

I may take you up on the help as in advice.....

Thanks,

Randy
