Cindy anemone hosting clarki

I was at petco today and saw condy anemones hosting clarki clowns! I thought condition anemones did not host! Has anyone else seen this!

My old 75 had an occy-condy mix that was quite entertaining. That little fish loved that thing.

And yea, I see Clarkiis and tomatos in condy nems quite often at the 'co.

They aren't a natural host anemone --- no clowns in the area that they are found.

So, they aren't commonly referred to as an "host anemone", that doesn't mean it won't happen in your tanks. But the chances aren't likely.

Toddrtrex is correct, Condys are not their natural host, but they will accept some species of anemonefish.

Condy are Atlantic anemone. There are no clownfish in the Atlantic Ocean.
