Ok I added a couple pep shrimp to my nano this past weekend and haven't seen them since. I do have a fiesty cinnamon clown in there who was a hand me down fish, would he eat them? Also if anybody wants him he is yours if not going to LFS. Other possibility is a flower anenome?

I'm gonna give you the reply that I got alot. Did you acclimate them long? My last few experiences with peppermints, I just floated the bag in tank and added a little water every few minutes for maybe 30-45 minutes. They always ended up not making it over night. I bought 3 more last Tues. I acclimated them for 2 hours. Didnt drip them just added a little water every 5 minutes or so. Well, it's been a week and they are still alive. Seen them all 3 out last night. 2 are always together and the other one is not too far away. I think im even noticing not as many aips in the tank now too.

Yea Ive already made that mistake before, i acclimated them for 3 hours same as I did on my other tank. I have about 6 in there and haven't lost any. So I really doubt thats the problem, but I guess its a possibility.

I've always had hit or miss luck with them. Either all of them I get live or all of them die besides maybe one. I think a lot of it has to do with how they were acclimated at the LFS or even before then. If your clown is big that is also a ****ibility. If the clown hosts in the anemone it is also possible that he drug them into the anemone.
