circular locline spray bar or dual flare nozels?

I am debating what form of spray I should produce off of my return

I am trying to figure out which would be best

I am considering two options

one is the locline circular flow spray bar

my tank is 24x18x18 so a circular spray bar at the top would provide good coverage since its a relatively small square tank

he other option would be to just Y the connection into 2 separate flare nozels

I am sort of leaning toward the Y and two separate nozels for better control

I would think on a return that the circular spray would create back pressure. Where as a 1/2 -3/4 inch Y with a flare would be less pressure on the pump. I guess it would depend on how much you are pushing. You could always try to make a spray bar out of some PVC that may fit what you need.

steve, thats a cool nozzle (nice spelling of "nozel" in my original post)

I wonder if they all shoot straight in the same direction or in various directions

Straight.

That is the 90, they make one that points out straight too, I just did not post the pic.

They should make one with angled holes tho, good idea.
