Hi

Can someone confirm that the wrasse on the picture is a female C. jordani?
My LFS got this fish in today and sent me this picture.

thanks :-)

The will send me more pics tomorrow. I will post them here to make sure it is a jordani. But the first sight is positive I think.

So my c. jordani is in the acclimation box.. My c. exquisitus (which is double her size) is very interested and flashed in front of the box. What would you say how long should i keep her in the box?

I go three days unless someone is attacking the box relentlessly
Ditto that; I've even done a minimum of two when I was rather confident from what I was seeing.

If there's aggression, I'll go longer. I've read of others comfortably going 7-10 days. I've never had to go past 5.

Ok.. its only the exquisitus which is flashing around but no attacking from his side. The others show no interest in her and the box.

The exquisitus is the only wrasse in my DT.

So 3 days will be fine :)

I've done 12 days in a box, then the C. solarensis hid under the return loclite for another 2 weeks. He is the boss these days though.

Wow 12 days.. thats a long time. I will let her out on friday night I think.
Should have no problems as there is only one wrasse in the DT.

Yes, the blenny is nice! I guess its a smithi? Only 20 bucks..

Another short question.. What would be a bad sign when I release her? If the exquisitus is chasing her around the tank?
My tomini tang does not like new "wrasses" in the tank and he almost always chases new fishes for a few days doesnt matter if they were in my acclimation box or not. When new fishes are in my box he does not show any aggression as they do not swim in his "area". But when released he is ****ed off when they are near to him.
