clam combatibility

i wanna put a ultra grade maxima in with a frogfish i have in a 92 gal tank with halides and all that other junk i need. anyway incase u dont know much about frogfish, they r interesting fish with no swimbladders and a modified first dorsal spine used a lure to lure fish towards it and then the frog consumes it. i was wondering if u can keep a frogfish with a clam, i can also tell u that frogfish perch on corals and i was afraid if it perched on a clam would the clam close on the frogs foot or something like this.

Sounds like asking for trouble. I wouldn't do it. Most articles I have read about frogfish say they are best in a species tank.

You say you have halide an all that other 'junk' What 'junk' do you have on this 90g? Specificaly what wattage bulbs are you running? How many bulbs are over this tank, and how long is it?

What are your alkalinity and calcium levels? How old is the tank? Water flow? How are you supplying calcium? A reactor, kalkwasser 2 part additives? Lastly, do you dose phytoplankton?

I wouldnt be worried about the frogfish and clam (as long as the frog doesnt perch on the clams mantle), however I wouldnt add a clam to a tank that is immature, has low alk/calc, low lighting etc.
