Clam ID Please!

I've had this beauty for about 5 years, purchased as a 3" baby, it's now
about 7". I never really knew what kind of clam it is, maxima or squamosa,
maybe?? Thanks for the id.

A close picture with more detail is needed for ID. The mantel, side picture of the shell and if at all possible without cut the clam loose the picture of the opening under the clam.

It might be a squamosa but a better pic is needed.

I am thinking Crocea, but it is hard to tell from that pic. A Squamosa would be a lot bigger in 5 years of growing.

its had to tell from the pic, but my guess is squamosa or crocea as well. if the shell is mosly smoth its a crocea if it has ridges then squamosa
