Clam Identification Help

I am new to Tridacnids and brought back these six clams from Hong Kong. (Yes, I got a CITES permit and Fish and Wildlife inspection).

I did my best to verify the species but thought some input from the forum for confirmation would be helpful.

I believe I have 3 crocea and 3 squamosa. Any input is welcome.

I placed a quarter next to the clams for scale.

The shell lengths:

Sq 1 is 4 1/2"
Sq 2 is 3 3/4"
Sq 3 is 3 3/4"

Cr 1 is 3 1/4"
Cr 2 is 3 1/2"
Cr 3 is 3"

Can anyone elaborate on what features distinguish each species. I'm going on what the supplier told me and what was on my CITES permit.

A picture of the scutes and byssal opening would be able to tell us a LOT more. Croceas have a very distinctive, large, C-shaped opening.

Croceas will have almost no scutes (projections on the side of the shell). Did you get them from a clam farm or did you wild collect them or did you get them from a Far East LFS.
