I have a happy and healthy Maxima clam that I've had now for 3 months or so. At first I layed him on his side because I had a Goby that would have choked him with sand if I didnt. Now I removed the Goby and wanted to keep the clam straight up like you always see them. Well he keeps tilting himself to the right so he's at a 45 deg angle..any rason. I've decided to obviously leave him be as he's happy..just curious

build a little "tripod" with rocks to keep it up, slip a piece of flat rock under it so it will attach to it and just sit and wait. It should attach to the rock firmly in a week and then you can remove the guard rocks.
