Honestly I was hoping my question would bring people more knowlegable in... I've never personally seen pinched mantle, only in pics. But it sure looks like it to me, looks like your little one had it and it spread?

Maybe try the fresh water dip & see if that helps?

I did a 20 minute FW dip on the Derasa earlier... I'll update in the next few days as to the status... The Crocea is looking ok.. I've never seen pinched mantle until now, so I dont know if I should have done a FW did on him too... what does everyone think..?? Dont want it to keep being passed between the two....

sorry for the lack of response but i think it is because of the thread title. most of us have looked / responded to the thread topic. for best results, if you have a problem post a new thread with a big help in the title. it may still be best to go this route, to draw in some of the senior members and get some help.

hopefully everything is ok and you can post a couple of top down pics of both clams tomorrow.

Thanks for the input... I was thinking the same thing earlier... I'll post a thread tomorrow with updated photos and any more questions I have... Thanks again...

most clams seem happy on the sand at the front of the aquarium
