Clam possibilities

Hey everyone,
I'm thinking of purchasing a clam, after endless hours of reading i've found that my system would hold a clam without a problem. I'm just wondering what person opinions are about what clams i can have. I want to do this right so 1 a clam doesn't die and 2 it is a happy camper from day 1

-Tank size: 135gal 72x18x24

-Lighting: 2x250watt MH 12k reeflux run 7 hours a day

-the 135 has been running for 3 months, when i moved 3 months ago i moved everything from a well established 55gal (3 year established)

-I dose daily w/ 2 part (until pay check when i can get a CA reactor)

-i currently house SPS,LPS in my tank (Various montis,Green slimer, small grove of mushrooms, I do have a Carpet anemone (yikes).

-Fish wise Firefish, pair maroon clowns, 1 coral beauty (which may pose a possible threat).

What clam would suite me best?

-Jim

...... coral beauty (which may pose a possible threat).

that is the only problem i see. the dwarf / pygmy angles have a tendency to nip at clam mantles, even if they are fine at the start sometimes the just snap at a later date and start.

your photoperiod might be a bit short too but you have lots of light. depending on which clam you choose you might want to increase the photo period a couple of hours a day.
