clam tank

Im am in the process of designing my clam tank. The dimensions will be 24x24x10 inorder to get the awesome viewing from above. Im planning to light with a 250 watt hqi pendant. my first question is what kelvin should the bulb be, 10k, 14k, or 20k? the second is what type of filtration. skimmer, refugium, or both? Also what flow would you reccommend? thanks a lot for your time.

20k is best fro color,but 10k is best for growth and most would agree is the better of the two health wise.I like 20k's because it puts out a more blue spectrum,but for clams i would probally go with 14k to get the "best of both worlds"
