I just review some of their prices and it looks like it's about the same as what I can get the Crocea for locally. Even more actually, I got a 4" Crocea for $30 locally. The 6+" are going for $38.

Nice and healthy

There are many grades of clams, you cannot really compare general prices for croceas like that. It would be like comparing hondas to BMWs, because they are all automobiles.

And Clams Direct has the best, and well earned, reputation for quality, healthy clams. Barry has been known to hold back clams from selling if he suspects that it is sick. And they do quarrantine their clams for at least a week before even listing them on the web site. All of these add to the value of the clam. His customer service is stellar also. We had a clam die in shipping.. it happens, any livestock is at rish to perish in shipping. Barry was fantastic to work with and we received immediate store credit and his profuse apologies. The other 2 clams in the shipment survived and are still doing fine in our tank. Outside of possibly buying a clam for a fellow reefer in our area, I will only purchase clams from Clams Direct, because I know a quality business and quality livestock (and truly competitive prices) when I see them :D

Just my $.02 :)

it's 7:45am and their site is down because they are loading new stuff... If anyone wants in, then now is the time to start looking...

HybridFish,
If nobody wants in, do you want to order and we split shipping??
Lets get this going on Monday...

I'm going to have to hold off for two weeks Elite... I just enrolled my daughter into pre-school and it ate up all my "allowable" aquarium money for the month. I'm definitely still interested though.
