Class Pet

So I got the approval to have a pet in my 1st grade class and I wanted a clownfish. Would a 10 gallon be enough? He would be the only livestock. Maybe a shrimp too but those would be it. What do you guys think? How easy is a ten gallon? I currently have a 40 breeder with a sump and skimmer and do 15% water changes every Sunday on it. Will the ten be just as work? I'm thinking I can mix the salt water up at my home and bring it in on Fridays for a water change. Idk. What do you guys think?!?

If you have live rock in your 40 breeder I'd toss some of that in and take five or so gallons out of your DT to seed the 10 gallon and kick start the whole process.

Hmmm I'm thinking I'll give it a shot. I can take some live rock and sand from my 40 and put it in the ten. Obviously I'm going to let the tank cycle first. I was just curious which clownfish species would be good in a 10?

I keep a pair of A Percula a clam and a BTA in my son's class room for a year. 2nd grade. The teacher love it. I used a 20 gal tank. HOB skimmer sand bed and rock. Lighted by a 150 MH light

The problem is sometime they turn the Airconditioning system off in the PM and weekend. You need to solve this first. It can get hot. LED will help keep you from need a chiller
