WOOHOO!!! I just got home from CFM was a great event put on by IEMAS. There were some great deals to be had! If I wasnt on a tight budget...man, I would have been on one after that event. Im sure people left the show trying to come up with 50 ways to break the news to their significant others about how and why they spent so much. It was great to see all the vendors out there. I myself came up on quite a few zoas/palys this weekend. Between friday and today I aquired 9 new types. Supposed to have 11, but another deal didnt go through this weekend, hopefully this week though.
Here is the list:
-Fire and Ice (big frag, thanks goodtimes)
-unknown blue and grean zoa (trade from Peter)
-some cool palys (theloud1)
-soloman island zoas (theyre extremely bright)
-Ring of Fire (Stewarts Frags, they almost look like a form of Lunar Eclipse)
-Velvet Moss zoas (Age of Aquariums)
-Hawaiian Ding Dangs (Age of Aquariums)
-Red People Eaters (Age of Aquariums)
-Hawaiian People Eaters (Age of Aquariums)
I am more than happy with the collecting I've got building. Still missing a few types that I really want, but in time I'll get them. To name a few, Blue Agave, Red Halo, Jokers, Rastas....
There was one more thing I came home to that made the day even better, well first let me tell you that on Friday when I left for Riverside I shut the lights off on my tank, and left them off all weekend. If you guys recall, my diatoms were turning into red slime and the tank was looking better, but still kind of gnarley. Well today the sand is WHITE! Back to normal, no water change, no vaccuming, no increased CUC. And boy are there pods. To many, more than I need on the glass! Im going to do a water test today and hopefully the basic levels are solid. I will post those results in a little while.
