So how many snails did you guy lose so far? I have 30-40 of them haven't moved since the time I put them in..

100% survival for my 70 pieces
until the mantis got to a few

Most of mine are still on the bottom exactly where they were placed - astraea.

The cerith's for the most part are moving around

Yeah, I only ordered astrea snail. Last time I ordered cerith from aquaticisland they moved almost right away.

I am about 90% or so for Snails and Crabs.

Several of the crabs bailed on their shells, and died..

Some of the snails didn't make it as well.

Some of them had their shells pulverized and were eaten..... Thanks to my Mantis.... I think I heard him go mmmm... yummy

Yup, got home hoping that many of the astrea would have moved - well it looks like I lost eighty percent of the two hundred I ordered.

Bummer...

Guess I won't be ordering from them anymore.

I lost 2 out of my 10 Astrea.
Hermits and cerith seem to be ok.

I lost about half of the astreas, half of the large ceriths, but all of the small ceriths made it.

Time to do a water change to get rid of snail rot.

Astrea, cerith and bl hermit just start to move today. Not sure yet how many didn't make it. But I'm happy for now to see a few start moving.

I can confirm that I have at least 80 snails dead now. Do I take them out or just leave and do water change on the weekend?
