Cleaner Shrimp says the Hippo Tang has to go...

PM Sent

Our skunk cleaner shrimp is insisting that our hippo tang must find a new home. He's tired of being picked up and then hurled by his antenae! :eek1:

The tang is a good 4.5" long and growing like a weed. Will outgrow our tank in a few months anyway. Very active - goes bonkers at feeding time. Perhaps a little pudgy right now. LOL Did I mention he's a good eater? Has notch in tail fin that he's had since we aquired him at AC back in Feb as a tiny 1.25" baby. This is a Sustainable Aquatics fish. Has had ich in the past - but never a full infestation (never lost color or stopped eating or anything). In perfect health right now - but would suggest quarantine, simply because I wouldn't want your display exposed should he be carrying a cyst of those little buggers under a scale or something.

Will sell for $35 (is that too much?) or trade you for a couple of frags.

Jennie, Did you ever find a home for him? He may be alright in my tank since he is not closely shaped like my powder brown..............

Hippo has (finally) been caught and is sold! :)

I have learned a valuable lesson this week... catch the fish FIRST, then post that you have a fish FS/FT! :D

Yes - I will be at work tomorrow. Glad he finally made a "friend" :) Cause he didn't have any in my tank! LOL

LMAO - he looks TINY!!!!

That is probably my fault - I should remember that objects through thick glass are smaller than they appear to be. AC said that the Blackspot Angel we bought a month ago was 4.25" and the tang looked slightly larger than the Angel is.

I will happily refund part of the purchace price if you feel it was too much for the size he is. :)
