Cleaner Shrimp with eel and lionfish?

Has anyone ever kept a cleaner shrimp with a lionfish (volitan) or snowflake eel without it being eaten? I'd like to try but I'd rather be told not to do it than give my lion/eel an expensive meal.

Wholeheartedly agree with VolitanLioness...

Almost a year ago, I went and bought 3 Cleaner Shrimp ($25 each) and put them into my tank. Before they hit the sand, my 15" Volitan had eaten then all.

I currently have CS with my Dragon Moray and Whitemouth Moray...but they're both fish eaters. Snowflakes are invert eaters and wouldnt think twice about having them as a snack.

My 30"+ Snowflake was never interested in eating Cleaner shrimps. In fact, the shrimps would sit on its head and even pick inside the eels mouth after feeding. Crabs, crawfish (Yabbies), glass shrimp, prawns and any sand dwelling fish like gobies were eaten. The eel seemed to know the difference. A Lionfish wont appreciate their services and will eat them for sure. We have to be carefull over hear now as Cleaner shrimps average $100 AU or more, -each!

The only times I've known of it working out, the shrimp were well established before the fish were added. The other way around, the fish are already accustomed to eating anything bite sized you throw in the tank.
