cleaner wrasse attacking maroon clownfish

I purchased a marroon clownfish yesterday and my cleaner wrasse attacked him several times until "hellboy" (clownfish) found a hiding spot and won't come out now. Is this temperment possible from "Mr. Clean" (wrasse) or was he trying to clean him? What to do and suggestions? :headwally:

Normally maroon clownfish can hold their own against just about any other fish.
Maybe just put a divider in the tank until the maroon feels more at home.

Thanks Uncle Salty, Hellboy is pretty much in seclusion since yesterday. I'm just worried he hasn't come out to eat, but I'll keep my eye out for him.:bigeyes:
