cleaner wrasse what the hell?

So my aquarium was very odd in general before this happened but now i am speechless..... My cleaner wrasse eats nori wth? i stopped feeding my tang nori because i had some hair algae growing and there was no need for many weeks, i fed some nori flakes soaked in garlic and watched as my cleaner wrasse nibbled... I re-introduced my nori clip... he is constantly eating from it with my two tangs- is this bad? maybe i am misinformed, do they even eat veggies?

oh and by odd here are some things that happened- (six scissor tails, cleaner wrasse and sleeper goby sleep with eachother) clowns tape themselves to the suction from the overflow when they sleep. my hermits x35, a good 20 to 25 of them pile up on eachother in one part of the tank. Introduced a cleaner shrimp and he molted within minutes... Powder blue sleeps sideways... my yellow tang does backflips...

as for the cleaner wrasse eating nori, mine does that as well. he eats everything; live, frozen, pellets, nori, and when i stick my arm in the tank he'll even go after my arm hair as well :lmao:. so no nothing too unusual with the wrasse. you should count yourself lucky it eats at all. i know lots of people don't have much success in feeding cleaner wrasse (although i don't know why i've had 2 cleaners eat perfectly fine)

ya thats what ive read and was told... they told me they are super picky and they will only eat cyclopeeze parasites and MAYBE flakes if your lucky.. my friend compared him to a mandarin goby so you can see why i was surprised lool

yes and i guess my fish do like orgies.. so weird lol i can see all their heads poping out of the cave goby wrasse and scissor tail it looks so wrong

Cleaner wrasse do not eat parasites. They eat cyclopeeze, and most meaty foods as well as nori.

I don't own a wrasse that won't eat nori, including my 2 hogfish and 3 harlequin tuskfish.
As to the comment that cleaner wrasse don't eat parasites by snorvich; +1. Many of them don't eat anything.

My cleaner wrasse eats nori too so nothing odd about it.

Radiant and Leopard Wrasse (Melagris) chow on the stuff when I put it in the tank. They don't eat as much as the tangs but they swim so quickly that it funny to watch them when they approach the clip. The tangs hang out and graze but the wrasse's spot an opening and zip in and out so fast that if you blink you miss it.
