cleaning ph probes

alright finally getting around to recal.my ph probe an it has some coraline on it.would a dip in vinager harm the probe?also,the two solutions that i have to do the recal. are 4.0 and 10.0 ,will this be ok or should i wait and pick up 7.0 to do the recal. thanks , peace out

but 4 and 10 should work alright.

I don't know why vinegar would harm the probe but LMK what you find out!

I use Distill vinegar for cleaning my probes haven't have any problem

i didnt think vinager would bother the probe,but thought i would ask as it is alot cheaper than buying a new probe thanks
